Je account bij Thirsty Garden verwijderen
Laatst bijgewerkt:
2. Zonder de app (per mail)
Heb je de app niet meer, of lukt het in de app niet? Stuur een mail naar privacy@thirstygarden.com:
- vanaf het e-mailadres waarmee je bent ingelogd bij Thirsty Garden;
Delete your Thirsty Garden account
Last updated:
You can have your account and all data that belongs to it deleted in two ways.
1. In the app (immediately)
- Open Thirsty Garden and go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deleted right away and you return to the welcome screen.
2. Without the app (by email)
No longer have the app, or doesn’t it work in the app? Send an email to privacy@thirstygarden.com:
- from the email address you use to log in to Thirsty Garden;
- with the subject “Delete account”.
We delete your account within 30 days and confirm this by email. If your email comes from a different address, we will ask you to send the request from your account’s address. That way we know for sure it is your account.
What is deleted
Everything in your account: your email address and password, your garden and postcode, your plants, waterings and notes, your plant photos, your notification settings and push tokens, your feedback and the log entries that belong to your account.
What remains
- Plant species that were added to our species list through the app (for example “English lavender” with the description from Plant.id), without any link to you. Species you entered yourself are deleted.
- Crash reports (if they were on): these are not linked to your account and are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Server logs at our hosting provider: deleted automatically after 1 day.
- Emails with your feedback in the developer’s mailbox: kept for at most 1 year after the last email in the conversation; then deleted.
- Emails about your request (if you asked by email to delete your account): kept until 30 days after we have handled the request; then deleted.
- At Expo (the service for updates and notifications): the push token and the ID per installation of your phone, without your email address or account. Expo stores push tokens, but not the content of notifications. Expo does not state a fixed retention period, only “so long as reasonably necessary”.
- Backups: there are none. No backups are made on the free plan of our database (Supabase), so no copies of your data remain in backups.
More about your data is in the privacy policy: https://thirstygarden.com/privacy.
