Thirsty Garden: know when your garden is thirsty

Last updated:

Thirsty Garden tells you every day which plants in your garden need water, and which don’t.

A free app for Android, in English and Dutch.

How it works

The app uses what actually fell and evaporated at the KNMI weather station closest to your garden, and looks at tomorrow’s rain forecast. For each plant it keeps track of the water shortage, taking into account how much water the plant needs and how much sun it gets. So you water when it’s needed, and skip it when it isn’t.

What you can do

Who it is for

For garden owners in the Netherlands, with outdoor plants in the ground. The app uses your garden’s postcode and the KNMI weather stations.
